Description
The oak-lined avenue at Wormsloe State Historic Site in Savannah, Georgia, stretches for about a mile and a half and is shaded by more than 400 live oaks draped in Spanish moss?actually an air plant, not true moss, named by French settlers who thought it resembled the long beards of Spanish explorers. Planted in the late 19th century by descendants of Noble Jones, one of Georgia?s early colonists, the trees form a natural tunnel as they reach inward toward the light, creating a canopy that was never formally designed but shaped by competition and nature itself. Today, this majestic passageway stands as one of Savannah?s most iconic and photographed scenes, blending history, ecology, and Southern beauty in a single view.
Photographed from the north view, this is a 105 image large format panorama that when printed at large sizes will create a totally immersive experience. PHOTOGRAPHIC LICENSE
This is a rights managed license to use this image for 1 specific project. Typical useage would be for an extremely large print in an office lobby by printing directly on to glass or by using
photographic wall paper. Our images are of extremely high resolution and will still remain pin sharp at these large sizes. Simply printing a standard resolution photograph at these sizes will result
in a blurry image that will magnify all the imperfections which will reflect badly on the establishment.
When you license one of our images, you will be supplied with the high resolution file for printing on to whatever medium you choose. Discounts are available for purchases of multiple licenses.

How much DPI do I need? For nearly all circumstances, 150 DPI will be more than enough for viewing. Greater DPI (up to 300) is preferable when printing for magazines etc.
