From Navy Pier in Chicago, one can get a beautiful view of the city's skyline, including iconic skyscrapers such as the John Hancock Center and the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower). On a clear day, the view from Navy Pier stretches far beyond the city and out towards Lake Michigan. The sun setting over the lake and the city lights twinkling against the darkening sky creates a mesmerizing scene that can be enjoyed by visitors. The location of Navy Pier on the lakefront also provides a unique perspective of the city's architecture,

Taken from a high vantage point at Navy Pier (which I was eventually moved on from by security), this image captures a gorgeous sundown behind the Chicago skyline. The reflecting lights of the city in the water add a final touch to a lovely scene of the city.
