'Congress' - Austin - Texas - USA


Congress Avenue Bridge is a historic bridge located in Austin, Texas. It spans Lady Bird Lake and connects downtown Austin to the city's south side. Congress Avenue Bridge is best known for its bat population, which is the largest urban bat population in North America. The bridge is home to around 1.5 million bats, which migrate to the area each spring and summer. The bats roost under the bridge during the day and then emerge at dusk to feed on insects.
